This Boston Gear PLB series timing pulley has either a 3 mm or 5 mm pitch, and is suitable for use with 9 mm wide curvilinear tooth belts in power transmission applications that require synchronous rotation. This polycarbonate resin thermoplastic pulley has an aluminum insert with a 0.500" bore diameter and mounts to a drive shaft using setscrews. A flange on one side of the pulley resists side thrust in one direction and maintains belt contact, and the fiberglass-reinforced polycarbonate resin thermoplastic provides light weight and low noise.
