警察局收到很多电话问询，回答，还没有接到任何确切消息。有网友指出是超音飞机。最后皇家空军出来解释原委：
一架客机失联，为救助客机，皇家空军经过允许，超音速飞行，寻找客机。找到了，空军飞机引领护航刚失联的客机，在Stansted 机场安全降落。
封城把人憋得慌，这一事件让人们兴奋一阵子，并且为自己的空军自豪一番番。
