Measuring for our Female Dog Nappy products A: Waist girth: Use a cloth tape measure - measure your dog's waist girth just in front of hind legs. Make sure your dog is standing on a hard surface, 4 legs square and it's best to take two measurements to ensure accuracy. By taking the next measurement shown for overall product length and comparing against size chart, you will also be able to determine if you need a bigger size. B: Overall length: Position the tape measure as shown in the photo - this is to get an idea of what size would be best for your dog - some dogs are longer in the loin, and therefore require a bigger product size. Compare this measurement to the size chart and although you may not have an exact fit, go for the closest shown on the chart. Tips: If your dog is at the top end of the measurement for product size, consider the next size up, or same size with a Poppers fastening (they have a greater waist range and are on different listings), or our fully adjustable Flexi pants.
