Ê ÊÊWhen envisioning the concept for the Black Box,Êthere was one thing that we intended to do. Answer a few simple question. "How can I store and display my sneakers?" and "How can I travel with my sneakers?" We examined the market and found a lot of the existing solution to be not totally there. We initially started with a sneaker duffle bag, available for purchase as the Foot Clan here.ÊWe later realized that a huge issue remained. While having a sneaker duffle bag that is able to carry sneakers is great, sneakers are meant to be worn. After a day walking around, traveling, and enjoying the sites, the last thing you want to do is to put your shoes in a bag with all your clothes and belonging. Let's be completely honest here, they smell and are dirty and will undoubtedly mess up your clothes. Some other sneaker bags on the market have attempted to answer this question by creating insertable dividers and glorified shopping bags for you to use in their outrageously priced sneaker duffle bags. But there are a couple of issues with this solution.
Ê Ê First, every existing sneaker bag for storage that is designed to complement most sneaker duffle bags on the market have 1 major flaw: YOU CAN'T SEE WHAT'S INSIDE. If you're a hardcore sneaker-head, a person who travels with several pairs of sneakers at a time per trip, every single time you need to grab one of your shoes out of these carrying cases, it'll be a guessing game trying to find the pair you're looking for. How did we fix this conundrum? We've included a huge window in the front of the Black Box so that you can see what's inside. No more guessing which pair is in which bag. Our quick-access zipper and a see-through window will let you see what's inside and grab your kicks with ease.
Ê Ê Second, a lot of sneaker bag companies boast airholes in their sneaker bags or sneaker pouches are a great solution to keeping your sneakers not smelling nasty when you put them in a carrier. That may be true, but when you're putting the bag (with air holes) into a sneaker duffle, all that smell is just being released into the duffle bag itself. How is making the rest of your stuff smell bad an actual solution? We have some news on this coming soon, stay tuned.
Ê Ê I called the competition's sneaker pouches "glorified grocery bags." You might think I'm saying that because we're selling a competing product. That may be somewhat true, but a major flaw in the existing sneaker pouches meant for the interiors of sneaker duffle bags and other sneaker bags for travel is that the carrying pouches themselves offer no structural protection. The last thing any sneaker-head / sneaker enthusiast wants is their pair of Jordans having the toebox creased up from a poorly designed product. We've reinforced each black box to give it a structure that'll reduce some of the stress that the bag will experience during travel.Ê A current solution on the market is to place "sneaker dividers" in between your products to create different sections for your belongings, but this is extremely inefficient. That's why, the Black Box can transform from a wall divider, into a reinforced carrying case to both save tons of space and to also keep your sneakers protected.Ê
Ê Ê Finally, and probably the biggest issue, we found that all the current solutions only answer one question, poorly. So we decided to answer two questions, well. This is more than just the best travel shoe bag, the Black Box is also the best shoe bag for storage. Once you arrive where you're heading, or even while you're at home, the Black Box can become a hanging storage system with the ability to clip onto any hang rail and other Black Box's creating a modular, portable storage system for your sneakers and shoes.
