Black Stainless Steel Prong Collar is popular among dog owners and
professional dog trainers. The shape of this collar was wisely elaborated to
affect the dog's neck safely and contribute to dog training. The black prong
collar consists of 1 O-ring for leash attachment, click-lock buckle for secure
fastening, balancing center plate, nylon loop and well-polished blunt
prongs.The standard size of the collar is 16 inches/41 cm. It will perfectly
suit dogs with weight up to 66 lbs/30 kg. You can add links to make the collar
bigger or remove some prongs to reduce the size.How do I measure the neck size
of my dog? Please put a measuring tape closely to the fur right behind the
ears and under the jaw. Mind that two fingers should slip between the collar
and the dog's neck. Or you can measure his neck and add two inches. When the
collar is on his neck it should allow you to slide two fingers under the
collar and your dog's neck. If there's extra room, you need a smaller size and
you should remove links. If both fingers don't fit, the collar is too small
and some links should be added.This Herm Sprenger training collar is made of
stainless steel. Steel then is galvanized and covered with special polymer
coating which gives that exceptional black finish.NOTE!This peculiar black
collar is not advised for dogs with light coat, as because of normal abrasion
processes it may color light fur. Please, check our stainless steel collars if
your pet has white coat.The item contains nickel and won’t fit for nickel-
reactive pooches.
