By adjusting the composition of the filler, the ink is less likely to soak through to the other side, even when using a thick pen nib or writing in layers. Its texture gives excellent pen control without the scratchy or grabby feel. The uniform coated layer brings out the beautiful ink sheen and rich expression of shading. There is usually a difference in quality between the front and back of a specialty paper. Some papers have big differences, but with GRAPHILO the quality of the front and back is virtually the same. This writing paper is about the same thickness as your standard copy paper, but it does not sag or bleed through even when blurred with water or overlaid with colors, opening up the possibility of this paper used also as drawing paper.
