This page features a set of 96W high powered LED light bar plus metal mounting bracket and relay wiring harness with On/Off switch for the 2015-up Chevrolet Silverado 2500 3500. Q: How do I install the Chevy Silverado 2500 3500 LED Light Bar?
A: You will be installing your new Chevy Silverado 2500 3500 LED light bar in between the two front bumper end covers.
Step 1: Gently, but firmly bend the bumper end covers outward so you can reach inside to the lower bumper. You don't need to remove the two bumper end covers, you just need to have enough room to maneuver the mounting brackets in later.
Step 2: Once you've got enough leeway behind the front bumper end covers, you can take the metal mounting bracket and slide it behind the cover at the 3rd hole (marked by red arrow) and bolt the hole onto the hole in the metal frame (indicated on 2nd photo) behind the bumper end cover using the provided screws.
You may notice the special design of the metal mounting bracket, which is our exclusive design that allows for a direct and easy bolt-on installation without any drilling, cutting or modification required.
Step 3: Repeat the mounting process on the other side.
Step 4: Once you have both metal mounting brackets secured behind the bumper end covers, then mount the LED light bar in between the mounting brackets and secure with the nuts and bolts.
Q: How do I secure the LED light bar onto the metal mounting bracket?
A: To secure the LED light bar onto the metal mounting bracket, you'll need the screw, nut, and occasionally a washer. Insert the washer (if you are using one) and the nut into the screw and then secure the bracket and light bar together. All the components will tighten among themselves to secure everything in place.
Q: Why is the LED light bar not set towards the center of the gap?
A: This design is intentional. The LED light bar is set towards the bottom of the gap so that it can easily exhaust heat since heat rises.
