Cotton is more sustainable than petroleum-based foam and polyurethane used in other bar ribbon. The narrower diameter allows for more precise wrapping at the brake lever with minimal bulk or deformation of the hoods. Lyra hoop and Trapeze artists have also discovered our cotton tape to be a comfortable, non-sticky alternative to athletic tape for wrapping their equipment. Finishing Tips: It can be coated with shellac to weather proof it. Amber shellac can be used to add an earthy tone to the wrap’s color. Clear shellac can also be used. Shellacing and wrapping tuturials can be found online. Finishing tapeand end caps are not included. Tape ends can be secured with electrical tape or twine. The bar end side can be secured by a handlebar plug or a wine cork. Rolls are sold individually if not noted otherwise.
