Heavy Horse Pull On Lycra Fly MaskThe heavy horse Lycra pull on fly mask (Registered Design No: 6066551) with ears is made from soft four way stretch Lycra so provides a close and comfortable fit. It is a pull on design so no straps to come undone or cause rubbing. This mask has been designed for the heavy horse type – Percheron, Clydesdale, Shire etc and the design is registered to Ruggles so only available from Ruggles.The Lycra pull on fly mask has mesh ears and mesh at the eye area with Lycra between the eyes to help keep the mesh away from the eye area. Due to the close fit and lack of straps the masks do tend to stay in place very well but if have a particularly itchy horse then a head collar can be worn over the top. These types of mask are also particularly good for horses who are prone to rubs as there are no straps or zips which can cause rubbing.Due to the smooth and close fitting design of the mask and lack of straps and hardware, if you have a particularly sensitive horse then tack can be worn over the top of the mask if required.In the Heavy Horse range we have just the one size which is XXL. The mask is packed in a robust bag which can be used for storing when not in use and the mask is machine washable.
