Sausage & Roasted Beet Pizza with Cracked Coriander & Pepper Sometimes pizza night calls for something a little more upscale, at least that’s what your friends and family will think. Savory sausage, bright pesto, sweet roasted beets, creamy ricotta cheese, pine nuts, and cracked coriander and pepper seasoning will transform your pie into a work of art. Don’t get us wrong, we love a good pepperoni and mozzarella, but sometimes it’s nice to dress your pizza to impress. Sausage & Roasted Beet Pizza with Cracked Coriander & Pepper 1/3 Yields Two 9 inch personal pizzas Ingredients: 16 oz of pizza dough (8 oz per pizza), 6 tbsp pesto, 6 tbsp ricotta, 1 roasted beet (sliced in to ¼ inch pieces), 1 or 2 cooked sausages (cut into thin pieces), 1 tsp Spicewalla Cracked Coriander and Pepper Seasoning, ¼ cup pine nuts, pea shoots for garnish. Sausage & Roasted Beet Pizza with Cracked Coriander & Pepper 2/3 Instructions: 1.Place a cast-iron pan or pizza stone in your oven and preheat at the highest temperature possible for 1 hour. 2. Working with one dough portion at a time, place on a lightly floured surface and sprinkle flour over top. 3. Use your fingertips to press down into the dough, pushing outward to create a crust. 4. Lift the dough off the table and begin to gently stretch with your hands into about a 9-inch circle. Sausage & Roasted Beet Pizza with Cracked Coriander & Pepper 3/3 Instructions Cont.: 5. Place on a lightly floured pizza peel or small wooden cutting board, quickly cover with pesto, ricotta, beets, sausage, and a sprinkle of Spicewalla Cracked Coriander & Pepper and slide off of peel onto cast iron pan or pizza stone. 6. Bake 5-7 mins until crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted. 7. Pull the pizza out of the oven and top with pine nuts, additional Cracked Coriander & Pepper, and pea shoots 8. Enjoy!
