SubstrateSource Cholla Wood - Driftwood for Aquarium Freshwater Shrimp, Hermit Crab Fish Tank Decorations, 6-Inches
Description
Substrate Source "cholla wood" aquarium driftwood is all-natural, dried husk of the cholla cactus. Its porous structure and soft texture make it both a unique aquarium decoration and a functional feature. Use it as a base to attach Anubis, java fern, and aquatic mosses, or as a site for small fish and shrimp to find food and shelter. Substrate Source cholla wood can also be used as natural decor and climbing surface in your hermit crab habitat .
Features:
- Cholla aquarium wood is both aesthetic and functional. It creates a natural look while also stimulating growth of biofilm, which provides a source of food to shrimp and baby fish.
- Great for shrimp tanks and hermit crabs; it will provide excellent hiding places for your livestock and can be used as a base to attach different mosses, aquatic plants, or marimo balls.
- Consists of all-natural, organic dried husk of the Cholla cactus with a porous structure and soft texture.
- Each log is approximately 6 long and 1-3 in diameter. Boiling the wood prior to use is recommended and will reduce natural slight browning of your water. This will reduce over time.
- SubstrateSource Cholla wood is sustainably sourced and has been cleaned and inspected prior to shipping.
