The highly porous water purifier pack can be regenerated and reused 5 to 6 times until it is fully exhausted. The total quantity of SunGrow Aquifier is 3.5 ounces and can treat 200 gallons of water. Once the water purifier is completely exhausted, it can be regenerated using a 1:1 solution of water and calcium hypochlorite. Let the pouch soak in the solution in a non-metallic container for 24 hours. Afterward, rinse well and prepare your aquifier for re-entrance into your aquarium water. For saltwater tanks, soak the packet for 8 hours in a solution of 4 tablespoons of calcium hypochlorite for every cup of water.
